bearta photo1 I have been a fitness instructor for over 10 years. When Zumba came along a few years ago, I fell in love with. It is the most fun and challenging workout. Aside from burning lots of calories and core strength, Zumba helps with your rhythm, learning different kinds of dances, and broadens your cultural experience. The best compliments are when members say they feel happy after a workout. Happiness starts from inside out and the music I chose is happy, motivating and inspiring. Our first Zumba party started in 2007 and we have now grown to 20 Zumba instructors and they volunteer their time to encourage over 120 people to exercise, the fun way. I have been inspired by the hundreds of people that I meet in classes, their success is mine and their smile brightens my days.

I have always believed that fitness is not just physical but spiritual and mental as well. Take time to work on all three.

  1. Cary YMCA: Thursdays 10:30 and some Mon, Thurs, Fridays, and Saturdays at 6:30pm.
  2. Peak Fitness: Tuesdays at 5:30 and some Tuesdays 9:30 am.
  3. Medifit: GSK, BSBS call or write for times
  4. Kraft YMCA: some Mondays at 6:45 and some Fridays at 10:45
